We work in the tree with the fellow Rotary and Rotaract clubs to strengthen international understanding, build friendships and networks, to learn from one another, to exchange project ideas and to discover new ideas.

The heart of RACGVP is our members; dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. We are a thriving club anchored by strong relationships and an active membership development plan with around 700 Rotaractors as pillars of the functioning body, RACGVP stands firm as the club with highest membership in rotary International District, R.I.D.3020. The club has won several accolades from the District as well as zone, i.e. Zone1 of R.I.D 3020 for touching numerous lives through its pioneering community projects over the years. We receive commendable appreciation from our Parent club, Rotary club Waltair and meritorious support from our sister clubs, Rotaract club of Visakha Satellite city (RCVSC) and Rotaract club of Anits (RAC Anits). Every term, RACGVP steps high with its collaborations with other Rotaract clubs, working as one for various community and international service projects.

Rotaract club of GVP offers the students to develop their professional and leadership skills. We focus to provide opportunities for young people to address the needs and concerns of the community and our world. Every Rotaractor in the club experience the role of team leader and they learn to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in their personal development. The best reason for becoming a Rotaractor, is the chance that was given to do something for somebody else; to sense the self-fulfillment that comes in the process. The club offers fellowship programs which bring people together in work and in celebration. Rotaractors experience diverse perspectives, meet people, listen to eminent speakers and forge bonds with other Rotaractors at the District and Multi District events. Being a member of the Rotaract club helps the students to receive instant recognition for their community service projects, which gives them credit rating during further studies abroad or during internship/placements. We support the meritorious by providing scholarships and guiding them professionally.

RACGVP is a stage where we plan a celebration, organize a community wide service project and tell our favorite youth service success story. Being a part of a global network, the club strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change. We value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, color, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity. The club’s archives include tens of thousands of photos, recordings, publications, artifacts and gatherings that preserve our legacy. The Engineers at the end of their graduation cherish their three years travel of being a Rotaractor and when asked about their journey, the response is always

"YOU WON’T GET IT, UNTIL YOU GET INTO IT"
