 Warm Rotaract Greetings!!!

"Learning sign language isn’t just learning various signs for very similar things, but learning another approach to consider things."

On the occasion of International Day of Sign Languages, Rotaractors of RACGVP organised an event in the college. The main objective of this event is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students can gain valuable insights into the world of sign language. The event is designed to be engaging for the participants by creating an opportunity where they can learn Indian Sign Language. Students from different branches and the faculty also took part in this event and through the hands-on activities, Rotaractors empowered them with the ability to communicate in Indian Sign Language. Enthusiastic students and supportive faculty were the promoters of the event's triumphant success.

 Warm Rotaract Greetings!!!

On the occasion of International Day of Sign Languages, the Rotaract Club of Gayatri Vidya Parishad in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Rajahmundry River City launched a tremendous event, KOSHISH 2.0. Our goal is to bridge the communication gap that arises from their reliance on gestures. It's not that the deaf can't hear, it's often that the hearing chooses not to listen. This event is designed to support speech and hearing-impaired individuals, not through sympathy, but through meaningful assistance and communication.

To support this initiative, more than 120 participants came forward from various clubs and districts. An interactive session has been organised at GVPCE (A) to promote this among students and faculty. Over 100+ students from GVPCE (A) have participated in this project. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the dedicated participants whose enthusiastic participation and unwavering commitment made the event a resounding success.

Deafness isn't the absence of hearing it's a rich silence filled with language.

RACGVP encourages everyone to create a more inclusive world, where everyone's voice is heard irrespective of their speaking ability.
