project "KOSHISH"

Warm Rotaract Greetings!!!

"Learning sign language isn’t just learning various signs for very similar things, but learning another approach to consider things."

To mark the importance of International Sign Language Day, Rotractors of RACGVP conducted an event to raise awareness about the perks of learning sign language. It started by interacting with others through sign language, explaining how difficult it is for the deaf to communicate with other people. Following that, they are encouraged to learn more about sign language through an activity. Having enthusiastic students and supportive faculty led to the success of the event.

 Warm Rotaract Greetings!!!

In an effort to raise awareness of sign language, rotaractors of RACGVP decided to broaden the public knowledge of Indian Sign Language.

Indian Sign Language (ISL) is used in the deaf community all over India. There is a general lack of awareness in India about sign language. Often, deaf people are ignored by others who can hear.
Learning Indian Sign Language will bridge these gaps and create sensitivity towards the deaf community and their culture.

 Warm Rotaract Greetings!!!

The key issue isn’t that the deaf doesn’t hear and the mute doesn't talk, but it is that the world chooses to ignore it. When they try to lead a regular life, they frequently struggle in communicating with others. Given their significance, we ought to respect, support, and recognize them appropriately.

Rotaract Club of Gayatri Vidya Parishad initiates the project "Koshish" and you are invited to take part with enthusiasm to educate the public about the communication challenges experienced by the deaf and mute in the community and the perks of learning Sign Language.

In addition to that, we're initiating a challenge called "Guess the Art" in which participants record a video of themselves doing sign language art and then nominate a friend to guess it.

How to participate:

Participation is open to all.
👉 Prepare a video and send it to the given number via Whatsapp.
Further
👉 The responses will be scrutinized and you will receive a message to proceed.
